The Dr. Oz Show chooses Ubiqus’ Audience Response System and Services
October 2010 – The Ubiqus Live Events team loaded up our keypads and headed to NBC Studios for a taping of the Dr. Oz Show. The episode incorporated our keypad system to solicit feedback from the studio audience, who were asked to weigh in on some interesting health concerns facing our children's generation. Dr. Oz used the keypads to gauge the audience's experience on various topics, including medical mysteries, vitamins, and winterizing the body. The results were then used as the basis of the episode's main discussion. Ubiqus is always excited to see their voting systems used for what they were made for—to gather instantaneous results from the audience at the click of a button.UN Week

Ubiqus’ simultaneous interpretation division assisted Partnership for New York City http://www.pfnyc.org/ at the three-day C40 Large Cities Climate Summit in New York City. In attendance were mayors from around the world, including New Orleans’ Mayor Ray Nagin, Governor Shintaro Ishihara of Tokyo, Mayor Ken Livingston of London, Mayor Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon of Mexico City, and Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg of New York.
In all, over 30 mayors and governors of cities around the world joined a total delegation of 250 to create long-term international collaborations to reduce carbon emissions and accelerate action on climate change.
Ubiqus is proud to have been a partner at this historic event, and to have had the opportunity to work at this exciting event and participate in the climate change debate. Here’s what Charlene Dusek of the Partnership for New York City had to say about our service after the event: “Ubiqus’ skilled technicians integrated their wireless technology smoothly with the other parties working on this event, and their interpreters had clearly done thorough research. Result: the event was a huge success.”
